what is the difference between "permanent teeth" and "removable teeth"? permanent teeth is a phrase that we use that refers to teeth that are screwed in, teeth that the patient cannot remove but the dentist can unscrew and remove out of the patient's mouth. sometime we call that an all on four or and all on six but it's a fixed prosthesis that is screwed into place. removable teeth are what we call snap on or detachable and the teeth can be very solid.
we do this a lot, we do removable teeth because they tend to be a little less expensive, but removable teeth are ones that the patient can remove at home, brush and clean and then snap them right back in.
