our doctor suggested we see an orthodontist.do you know any cheap ways to straighten teeth without braces? in order to fix your teeth, is he demandingan arm and a leg? getting braces can range from $5000 to $15,000.and that is on top of all of the dental appointments and pain. there are people who say you could straightenyour teeth with dental floss braces. however, these individuals have no before or afterpictures to prove it, or dental degrees to know how to do this without causing infectionsor tooth loss. cheap but practical.
have your wisdom teeth removed before theystart crowding the other teeth. that’s not going to cut it in this case. have one of the worst teeth pulled so thatthe others are not as crowded. if you’re desperate enough, there are plenty of peoplefrom the british nhs talking about removing them with pliers and whiskey. that’s a little too extreme. i hope we don’tneed to go that route. use expanders and retainers instead of braces.this won’t fix severely rotated teeth, but it can improve many peoples’ smiles withoutbraces. expanders and retainers won’t work in ourcase.
get aligners like invisalign. they cost almostas much as braces, but they aren’t as painful and can be removed when desired. that’s back up in the 5k to 10k range. if you can’t afford braces, there are charitieslike smiles change lives that do braces for the needy. the waiting list is about as bad as the guilt. talk to the local dental school. you couldget a discount on braces by having it done by students. if that lets us save enough on braces to payfor the kids’ college, i’ll consider it.
