hi, my name is windy st. george, and thisis how to take temperature of a baby or toddler. i find it easiest to use an ear thermometer,much less sketchy than the rectal thermometer. so you take the thermometer and turn it onand you just place it in their ear. push start, there, done. ninety-nine point five, you'rea little warm. most ear thermometers come with disposable sleeves so that you can keepthe hygienic and use them for various members of the family. when you're going to use thethermometer, first turn it on, they often have a memory for the last time you took thetemperature so you can track the fever, if the baby has a fever. so you turn it on, youplace it in the ear, and then you push this button and it'll flash while it's taking thetemperature and then the light will go off
and it will beep when it's done. it's a prettyquick process, quick and painless.
