dr. greg ceyhan: hi, i'm dr. greg ceyhan from aesthetic dentistry of arrowhead in glendale, arizona, and that's in the arrowhead area. well, when you say false teeth, that leaves a whole array of options. people with dentures, generally speaking, the dentures cannot move. so, we wouldn't want them wearing dentures while they are wearing braces. fake teeth, crowns, if they have crowns on their teeth they can most certainly get braces and have their teeth moved or get aligners and have their teeth moved and everything should move perfectly fine. if they have implants, however, the implants will not move. so, generally speaking, if we're planning to move people's teeth with braces, we wanna delay or wait a little later in treatment to put the implants in.
so, we'd like them to get their teeth straightened in their final position before we actually place implants in their mouth.
