what's up guys welcome back to my channel my name is alex and i have been getting a lot of requests for hair videos lately so today i decided to bring you a hair video on: how to get straight hair. now my hair is actually not naturally straight it's actually weave sometimes even curly but i like this straight look because looks better with my cut with my under cut so i like to actually get it permanently straight and in a lot of my old subscribers are like: dude i know your hair is not naturally straight what have you been doing to it and today i decided to show you everything that i have been doing and all my secrets alright time to show you guys how it's done but before we get into it don't forget to subscribe to my channel to make sure you don't miss any of my next videos
i promise you gonna learn a lot and hopefully get to know me a little bit better during the process the way i straight my hair is by chemically relaxing for a few minutes this is alex who first suggested that i relax my hair and the first time i did it it was awesome it looked amazing and i have been hooked up ever since now i don't blow dry my hair i rarely flat iron on it i just don't normally have the time for that so this for me was the best option to keep my under cut hairstyle looking fresh plus it last 2-3 months depending on your hair tipe my advise to you would be to getting done professionally i know there's tones of ways you can do this at home but it's a strong so try to get it done professionally
at least the first couple of times so you can understand how it works first because the product is so strong the first thing you'll do is apply protective cream on my scalp i unfortunately have very very sensitive scalp so i need loads of this to make sure the product never touches my scalp then after there's a tine layer of protective cream on my scalp we start applying the product to get rid of all the waves and curls in my hair the reason why we are not applying this to my ends it's because i do this every 3 months or so and it's a permanent solution so i don't need to apply to my ends again just my new hair make sure your thurow an try to keep your hair as straight as possible wile the product is doing is thing your supposed to leave it for about 10 minutes i sometimes do less than that just because i don't want super straight hair if you have curly hair and you wanna go for that sleek straight look then you might wanna live it in for maybe 10 or 12 minutes
just be careful not to damage your hair once that's done we'll wash all the product off with a special shampoo made to get the straightening product off this is important because you really need to get rid of all of it so make sure you don't leave any trace of it behind you can then condition your hair feel free to dry with a towel what i'm doing today is actually getting a cut because obviously i really needed it but we'll sky that and just get to the good part the big reveal alright guys and this is the final look you an see that all the curls are gone all the waves are gone my hair is perfectly straight and now i can style it anyway i want i really like this undercut look and that's why i keep straightening my hair because i think it goes really really well with this cut and with this hairstyle but you can style it any way you like your hair will be straight for 2-3 months like i said which is great so it's really low maintenance fell free to leave any questions on the comments section and down below i'll be reading all of them and answering as many as possible
